Co-Founder & CEO
Jacob Corlyon is co-founder and CEO of CCM, responsible for overseeing all facets of the business and its operations.
Jacob’s deep industry experience is underscored by his extensive knowledge of consumer, commercial, and healthcare collections. Prior to starting CCM, he honed his skillset in the collections and legal departments at Bankers Healthcare Group.
Jacob is a Professional Collection Specialist, a Credit and Collection Compliance Professional, and Scholar through ACA International. In addition, he’s a Certified Asset Recovery Specialist, Certified Commercial Recovery Agent, and has his National Skip Tracers Certification through RISC. He has expert knowledge of FDCPA, TCPA, FCRA, GLBA, UDAAP, and HIPAA, and is committed to professional and ethical collection practices.
Jacob currently serves on the board of directors and is the president of the New York State Collectors Association. He also serves as a Delegate to the Counsel of Delegates for ACA International and is a 2019 Syracuse 40 Under Forty honoree. Jacob shows his commitment to this great industry daily by advocating and educating consumers on financial literacy issues and what to do when being contacted by a debt collector. His goal is to change the negative stigma of this integral industry to our global economy.
Jacob studied at Bryant and Stratton College and SUNY Oswego, and currently resides in the suburbs of Syracuse, N.Y., with his wife.
President of Global Sales
Alistair Canal is President of Global Sales at CCM. He is responsible for driving the company’s revenue, brand development, and managing strategic client relations. He has more than 20 years of expertise in building and growing sales organizations.
Prior to CCM, Alistair was the SVP of Strategic Programs for Live Oak Bank where he was charged with building, launching, and directing new financing programs for one of the nation’s top SBA 7(a) lenders. Formerly, Alistair was also VP of Market Development at Promontory Financial Group. And most notably, Alistair was a member of the Bankers Healthcare Group executive team for over six years serving in multiple roles as their EVP of Business Development, Chief Relations Officer, and President of Fund-Ex.
Alistair is active on several boards and serves as an advisor to NextGen companies. He graduated from New England College with distinction.
Jeremy Cali is General Counsel at CCM, responsible for providing legal guidance to the executive team on all matters that affect the company, compliance oversight, and litigation. Drawing on his knowledge and expertise, he helps to ensure that CCM’s complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
Prior to joining the company, Jeremy spent 12 years as a prosecutor in the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office. Serving as the Chief of the Special Victims bureau, he litigated hundreds of cases in addition to leading a state and federal joint taskforce.
Jeremy earned his Juris Doctorate from New England School of Law in Boston. He is licensed to practice law in the state of New York, and continues to teach and train other attorneys in litigation strategies.
Elyssa Klenotiz was CCM’s first employee in 2014 and currently serves as Operations Manager. In her role, she handles day-to-day company operations, including implementation of collection software and applications, overseeing the operations team, managing HR responsibilities, assisting with accounting, and managing legal collections matters. Additionally, she onboards all new clients and receives new accounts. Elyssa, who is an ACA International-certified Professional Collections Specialist, was previously CCM’s collections manager.
Her experience includes managing all levels of employees, overseeing company-wide training, managing collections software development, and collecting on past due accounts. Her focus on efficiency and improvement helped create and streamline many of CCM’s policies and systems. Elyssa has a bachelor’s degree in Business from SUNY IT and an associate’s degree in Accounting from Herkimer Community College.
Corinne Galavitz is the Controller at CCM, responsible for managing cash flow, ensuring proper accounting for all collections, maintaining the accounting software, and working with leadership to ensure the company’s financial health.
Before joining CCM, she was the Affiliate Accounting Manager at Bankers Healthcare Group, where she was responsible for maintaining the financial records for various companies. She became a Certified Public Accountant in 2010 and her experience also includes 10 years in public accounting at two different regional CPA firms, where many of her clients were small businesses.
Corinne earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting from SUNY Oswego. She is a member of the AICPA and NYSSCPA and is the treasurer of the Central Square Lions Club.
Jarrod Turner is an ACA-certified Collections Specialist with nearly a decade of industry experience. Prior to joining CCM, he served in management roles on consumer, commercial, and government contracts with ConServe, an accounts receivable management company. He has in-depth knowledge of industry compliance and ethics, including FDCPA, TCPA, UDAAP, and FCRA regulations.
Jarrod earned a bachelor’s degree in Management from Keuka College and an associate’s degree in Business Administration from Finger Lakes Community College, and holds numerous certifications through Dale Carnegie.
Portfolio Team Lead
Jennifer Gurney is a Portfolio Team Lead at CCM. In this role, she oversees a team of collection specialists. She works on her own deck of accounts, assists team members with their calls, and continues to coach and train them on effective and compliant collection techniques.
Prior to CCM, Jennifer worked in the thoroughbred racehorse industry managing Stonewall Farm in Granite Springs, NY as well as serving on the New York Thoroughbred Breeding and Development Fund’s Board of Directors.
Jennifer is an ACA International Certified Professional Collection Specialist. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University.
Portfolio Team Lead
Joseph Calogero is a Portfolio Team Lead at CCM. In his role, Joseph supervises commercial product collection, trains staff, and ensures the team is motivated and focused. He is an ACA International Professional Collection Specialist and continues to collect on accounts daily.
Prior to CCM, Joseph was on the collections team at Bankers Healthcare Group. He was also heavily involved in college baseball as a coach for various teams across the country.
Joseph is graduate of Onondaga Community College and SUNY Institute of Technology at Utica respectively. He resides in Syracuse, N.Y, with his wife and two children.
Melissa Hawley is the Portfolio Supervisor at CCM, part of the company’s first-party collections team. Melissa is responsible for supervising the team’s pipelines, diligently communicating with our client’s partners, overseeing data and information transfers between teams, as well as working closely with CCM’s clients to ensure proper and accurate information is communicated across all channels.
Prior to CCM, Melissa was the Collections Production Lead at Bankers Healthcare Group, where she assisted the Senior Vice President in managing day-to-day operations and overseeing the production and collections efforts of the department. During her eight-year tenure with BHG, she held various roles as a Finance Coordinator for their SBA division and Customer Service Representative.
Payment Solutions Team Lead
Mitch Malfitano is the Payment Solutions Team Lead at CCM, part of the company’s first-party collections team. Mitch is responsible for collecting on past-due accounts and coaching and assisting his team with escalated issues.
Prior to joining CCM, Mitch served as a member of the collections department at Bankers Healthcare Group. He has over five years of experience in the collections industry. Born and raised in the Syracuse area, Mitch is a graduate from SUNY Brockport.
All CCM collectors are ACA and IACC-certified and FDCPA-trained.
